Our Healing Forest
250,000 kids enter foster care each year. This is the true story of one of those kids.
Our Healing Forest is a non-profit organized to uplift and inspire struggling kids who are victims of abuse, neglect, or trauma by providing a place of refuge from the chaos of their troubled lives.
Filmmaking for a Good Cause
Bob and Anne, founders of Our Healing Forest, approached us with an idea…
“We want to build a sanctuary for foster kids in the woods and need your help!” We love putting our storytelling and filmmaking super powers to good use so we quickly invited them over to our studio to brainstorm. We decided to tell the true life story of now entertainment attorney Miles Cooley, who grew up as a foster child in Sacramento. Miles loved the idea and agreed to be part of the production as this subject is dear to his heart. The Sacramento Children’s Home also supported us with their facility for some of the filming, which made it all the more real.
Thanks to a true team effort by actors, parents, facilities staff and film crew we were able to produce an inspiring and heartfelt story.
Fallen Leaf Films delivered a first class video that was way beyond our expectations. Alejandro has an amazing creative mind and developed a powerful story for our project. Their team of professionals met our deadline with a product that blew us away!
We at Our Healing Forest are grateful for our relationship with Fallen Leaf Films and look forward to future projects with them.
